surprised at the MM bashing. I would have expected to hear some varkonyi bashing b4 MM.

Moneymaker never came off as cocky to me. I thought it was more like "I'm going to have no fear and play my game" than implying he is on a level with the pros.

People who started playing poker in the past 24 months (a majority of 2+2ers) barely know who Varkonyi is...

I strongly agree. Obviously MM isn't a Lederer or Ivey but he has a reasonable confidence in his game and more importantly isn't intimidated by the pro's. I'm not a fan of MM's game but he has a great attitude about it.
