Re: NBA Finals game 1 thread
That is dumb as hell.
I do like that format(2-3-2) best for baseball though. I'd hate the World Series to be played like the Miami-Detroit series was. |

Refs did a terrible job in this game. I think it's going to be a good series. Prince, Dice, and Hunter can't miss shots forever. If they made even half of their easy shots, Detroit could have pulled this one away. [/ QUOTE ] Hunter can , but Prince and Dice had bad games.... |

Re: NBA Finals game 1 thread
Started this format in 1985 to cut down on travel. Back then it was basically LA vs Philadelphia or Boston and they thought this would cut down on jet lag. Who knows.

Re: NBA Finals game 1 thread
Not bitching about anything. Just stating what happened. They missed quite a few calls, and they called quite a few the wrong way. It is what it is. No one claimed that as the reason for the outcome.
Edit: and what do you mean if "we" lose the series? I'm a Knicks fan. |

Re: NBA Finals game 1 thread
By the way, I really like what Stephen A. did in the commentary after the game. He basically called out Mcdeiss and Arroyo and stated over and over that they both played horribly. I don't know if anyone in the Pistons organization would have what it takes to tell them just how awful they were, and how much they contributed to the loss. He might as well be an assistant coach, someone needs to tell them that they basically killed their own team.
