You probably don't get it, since the only way that you would ever walk three blocks would be if someone dangled a pastry in front of you the whole way...

your location now seems very fitting ocho.

Fold. Now I read the rest of the thread.

Edit: This was my exact thought process.

Fold, but i think it may be close

6 AA
8? AK's since you have KK

((6*.2) + (8*.7))/14 = about 48%

BUT, you are getting a tiny overlay from the pot, calling 99 to win 101.5 .... does this make it any closer? I could just be retarded

[/ QUOTE ]

I didn't crunch out any numbers on the go, but I felt I was behind more often than ahead and the times I were ahead was a coinflip with a minor advantage.

I thought I was 1:4 half of the time, 2:1 the other half, and tied 1/15'ish.

Fold, but the numbers come out close. Best I could do in 30 seconds:

Rounding to 20% vs AA and 70% vs AK (because the math's easier) I get equity = (8 * .7 + 6 * .2) /14 = 6.8/14 < 0.5. Both 20% and 70% are a little high, which makes the 6.8/14 estimate also too high but we only care about whether it's greater or smaller than 0.5. Adding in KK makes a call very slightly more +EV (you get 0.75SB in blind money) but that doesn't change anything here.
