Edit: Why did the coupons expire? The original post said they would be around until 4/27 IIRC. I doubt I'll buy monitors from Dell now because I am irrational.

Just from the sheer number of people that own a dell (or multiple dells) on this site. Plus everyone else, I somehow think Dell wont miss your business [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Seriously though, just wait a week or two and this deal (or something better) will be back.

Well, if they won't miss my business that is fine. I planned to purchase $2500 in hardware from them tomorrow. Instead, I will never buy anything from them and I will advise everyone I know not to purchase anything from them.

Maybe I'll get over this, but I'm pretty upset. Posting a coupon that expires on 4/27 and then yanking the deal the same day is very poor business. I don't like being jerked around and I'm sure there are others like me.

From what I've read, there will not be a similar deal in the future because the 2001FP is being discontinued.

I dont think they will discontinue the 2001FP. That was just speculation on the forums. It might happen but probably not before they run another deal like this.

they both said the coupon expires on 04/27 OR after 2000 uses.

So no need to be pissed with Dell. Be pissed that they are so popular that 2000 uses lasts less than 12 hours !!

well, the $750 off $1500 laptop couple had 7500 uses. it was dead within 45 min of going live.
