Nothing magical about why you should call; it's simply because you can expect 4 opponents for 1 extra sb. So, you are getting 9:1 with a suited hand. I would call with any two suited although playing crap like 72s may be pushing the envelope.

[ QUOTE ] Folded to him two off the button and he openraises w/ Q5s. What do you think? [/ QUOTE ] Too loose. I'll usually raise with a suited queen on the Button exactly. [ QUOTE ] Cutoff openraises (loose raising standards) and my friend defends his BB w/ Q9o and they go heads up. Thoughts? [/ QUOTE ] Standard blind defense, especially in a game with a relatively low rake. [ QUOTE ] One EP limper and my friend limps in MP w/ JTo. Thoughts? [/ QUOTE ] No me gusta. [ QUOTE ] EMP openlimps, two seats later raises, next two coldcall, and my friend calls from the BB w/ Q6s. Thoughts? [/ QUOTE ] Fine. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with Nate. JTo -- horrible! horrible! But I'm still defending my BB too much; Q8o is as low as I go and I think that's too low. JimmyV |
