just so EVERYONE knows...gabe woke up...said "Peachys a bitch"...then a few later told brian he could make it...brian took him downstrairs with him and at one point lost sight of him...

so....its assumed that he got his cab and is on the way to the airport...i just hope they can wake him back up after his flight LANDS and he doesnt drool all over the person next to him [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

That's assuming they let him board at all. 37 drinks over 2 hours is a lot. Don't think I met ggb this weekend, have no idea how big he is or what kind of tolerance he has, but if he REALLY drank 37 drinks, I can't imagine he's in any kind of condition to clear security. But I don't fly a lot so I'm just guessing.

I'd have just pushed his flight back to late tonight and hopefully someone else could watch him for a few hours at a time. On the other hand, if 37 drinks is really more like low 20s + exaggeration then he might be fine to fly by the time they get there.

Either way, there's really no need for bk to miss his flight, there's other options here. And calling the hotel and/or ambulance on an underager is not a good plan. People can keep an eye on him and if he's vomiting a lot or he has a harder time responding then sure, but most of the time he should be okay if he sleeps it off with someone keeping an eye on him.

Sorry to hear the weekend ended rough bk. Hope you both make your flights and ggb turns out alright.

Call the front desk and book the room for an extra night. Go catch your flight. Get a hooker card from the cabbie taking you to the airport. Order a redhead and brunette for 4PM. This way they can make sure your buddy is still alive. You also get the added bonus of his total confusion when the girls show up and start performing.

Bonus points if you can script the girls into making him believe that he 'hooked up' with them last night and he told them to come by his room later today.

If he is talking to you, you have nothing to worry about. Put him on his stomach and take off. If he was so bad he'd have puked by now. I'm sure he's bombed, and if he misses his midterm it sucks for him, but live and learn, ya know?

This is bad advice.

You either:
1-Put him on his side and lay one arm above the head and the other arm across the chest. Prop up one leg by bending the knee.

2-You lay them on their side and prop them up with a pillow. Gravity helps clear the puke.

3-The fetal position works too.

Also, just because they are talking doesn't mean the 5 shots they took in the last 10 minutes have hit them yet.

I'm kind of in shock at the poor advice given in this entire thread to tell you the truth. Especially since so many quality posters have replied and it's 150 posts long.

Don't do anything that could weigh on your mind if the worst wuld happen. Calling him an ambulance and hitting your own flight is the safest (from your perspective) thing to do. If he misses his midterm he will have an emergency room reciept to show for it which should help him to get a makeup. (this should also work on the airline).
The two dangers are him choking on his own vomit, and him bashing his head when he staggars around the bathroom drunk, or extremly dehydrated.

simple answer

call and reschedule his flight
call the desk and book the room an extra night

then

if you dont have any pressing matters at home, suck it up and change YOUR flight (at his expense, whether or not you can afford it is irrelevnet)

or

pay a 2+2er to watch him for the next 6 hours. wake him up after 3 hours and force him to drink a lot of water, then again after another 3. again, ggban pays for this.

do NOT inform the casion like someone suggested. they will call the police who will then take him to a hospital.

who the [censored] counts how drinks they have had?
