There are people who would kill for the chance for an education and they would bust their asses to learn everything they could but they didn't get the chance because you got the spot instead and you can't even be bothered to do the work that is required of you never mind anything extra.

[/ QUOTE ] Even after I finish writing this paper I will not have learned anything that I will remember for more than a few weeks. Also are you suggesting that scholarships should be awarded on the basis of who wants to go to college the most? I'm going to go get some hot chocolate from 7-11 now. Then I'll write some more. Then maybe I'll come back and see if this thread has died yet.

UPDATE
I'm entering the home stretch. I had a psychology exam this morning that I didn't know about until I got a call from a friend telling me I needed to be in class in half an hour or I'd be in deep [censored]. So I hauled my ass down there and took the exam and found out I got a 96 on the term paper we handed in last time. I barely made a C on the exam (grades were given immediately) but overall I'm still going to pass the class for the semester, so that's good.
Concerning the paper, it's getting finished. Some motherfucker pulled the fire alarm during the psych exam so I wasted valuable time waiting around outside when I could have been finishing up the exam/writing the paper. Oh, and somehow the paper has ended up being on the evolution of animation. Right now I'm talking about how "post-World War II art movements such as abstract expressionism rejected this naturalistic approach and these avant-garde principles eventually filtered down to the popular cartoon." Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it.

FINAL UPDATE
Paper completed. One hard copy was slipped under the door to the professor's office. Just in case he doesn't get that I sent him an e-mail with the paper as an attachment.
Will post results when I get them, probably in a couple of weeks. Thanks to everybody that voted/posted ideas.
