Nice. Always great to mingle with a fellow percussionist. I've player for about 14 years but don't really have the time for it anymore. I played in about 5 bands and only managed to record an outstanding 4 songs. Your avatar seems like you may have been recording something. Would you care to elaborate?

yeah that was a studio pic. we made a decent album, and i listen to it from time to time. maybe about 12 songs i think. i wish i had more time to play too. actually, i have a TON of time, just haven't played recently. i'll make a serious run at playing more after new year's, just like going to the gym!

10 Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

wasn't it the sorceror's stone? a mistake in your own post!

[/ QUOTE ]

JK Rowling's first book was published in England and called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. When it was published in the U.S., the name was changed to Sorcerer's. In most of the rest of the world, the Philosopher's title was maintained.

When the films were made, they used two different titles for the U.S. and non-U.S. markets.

Notice that this is continued in the film as well. Any references to the stone were shot twice, once for the us and once for everywhere else. So when we saw them referring to the sorcers stone in the films, everyone else didn't.
