One year ago today, I....

one year ago today...
I was playing 40 buyin NL weekly, playing 400 NL, buying in short thought I knew what I was doing... actually had no idea...
since then: built a bankroll from 200 NL online
switched to 6 max limit
i started with 4k at the beginning of the school year was grinding 200 NL online for a while, learned about 6 max limit being insane, started at 3/6 and now am at 5/10, made over 10k since school started.

One year ago today I...

-Was playing only poker simulator games because I thought I'd be arrested/ripped-off if I tried online poker.
-My only poker book was written by Ken Warren and I was reading it to try and beat little simulated torsos.
-Thought I knew what I was doing.
-Knew I could beat those guys on WPT.

Since then I...

-Put $50 in Paradise and got knocked down to $12.50 immediately playing NL.
-Put $100 into Party because I heard it was full of fish. Guess who the fish was?
-Decided I knew absolutely nothing about poker. Went back to Paradise and built the $12.50 into a couple hundred by playing the nanos. Devoured 2+2 books and finally registered here after much lurking.
-Went back to Party .50/1 full and built a decent roll. Got sick of too many 17% VP$IP tables and switched to SH. Moved to 1/2 6-max.
-Bankroll took a hit when my spouse learned that I was actually making money at this, but I hope to build it up to where I'm comfortable taking a shot at 3/6. In the meantime, it's nice to be able to get paid doing something that you love!

One year this December 5th,

I was playing play money on Tiger when I noticed they put $5.00 in my real money account. I started playing $.10 /.20 (severely under-bankrolled, I later learned!)

Nine months ago I was playing $3 and $7 SnG's with a 'bankroll' now around $250

Four months ago, bankroll = $300, I took a shot at Tiger $1/$2

Yesterday I started at my highest limit ever (6max 3/6), bankroll = $2,350
