Re: Card Protecters
I use a small nugget of iron pyrite. I acquired 'prospecting' with my family at a road-side attraction in VA.

tarantula that I've trained to stand on my cards. [/ QUOTE ] This is good but would be funnier if it was coming from a Chuck Norris gimmick account. |

Re: Card Protecters
I used to use a miniature laughing Buddha, but I don't recommend it. He always got rivered. That's what he was laughing about, apparently.

Re: Card Protecters
I was using a 1964 Kennedy half dollar but it turned out to have bad mojo: flopped top two running into flopped bottom set, flopped second set losing to a flopped top two when it turned into 2nd boat on the river, A-rag two pair beat by a three outer Q. All of those ended my tourney.
I forgot it once on the way to the Trop (actually left it at friend's home game) so I used a California quarter from my car and went home with $1750 (on $70 buy in) after tipping the dealers. Had another player ask about it and if I was from CA (hah, Philly yo). All in from BB (M=4) with Q4d and made the river flush on the way to a 4 way final table chop. Hit four Jacks all in later that night. Pulled my own 3 outer on the river all in with it at home game. All in three way with AKo, AKo, and my AKc and hit the flush on the turn. In fact, I have yet to take an actual bad beat with it yet. Using it again Wednesday. |
