[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] If you can make money waltzing into a big game with a tiny stack, that's a problem with the game, not the player. [/ QUOTE ] Isnt the problem with the structure of the game, and not the other players? I dont really understand why the minimum buy-in for a $2000 game isnt set atleast $1000. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. [/ QUOTE ] In limit poker isn't the minimum buy in something small too like 10big blinds? |

Re: Make sure you have a big bankroll..
Based on the replies in this thread it seems the majority of the respondents do not like small stack players in their game (I know I don't because they can shut out players whom I want in the pot with me post flop). So, if a player does not like it, and they are all about +EV, then it seems that this means it would be -EV for them. Therefore, if it is
-EV for them it must be +EV for someone else, no? I wish my bankroll was large enough to test this hypothesis at the 2000 game lol. |

Re: Make sure you have a big bankroll..
don't forget the rake - any player who isn't losing more than about 2PTBB/100 isn't +EV for the table whether they are rock or short stack player
