Yep, and I didn't say that I would take it.

You offered and I accepted. If you back out now its a welch. Its pretty sad that $100 is worth more to you than your reputation.

I said how low would it HAVE TO BE. Followed by a question mark. I then told you to name it. Name how low it would HAVE TO BE for you to accept.

Also, show me where I said $100.

No one's reading comprehension can be as bad as you're pretending.

How low would it have to be to accept a 1-1 bet of $100?

Also, what is your definition of "grandiose expectations"? You still haven't answered that one either.

This is as accurate as those exit polls that said Kerry was winning by 11% in Florida. Bush won the last election by the largest margin ever even though nobody trusts him except for terrorism? Give me a break, that poll isn't accurate.

1) Women and senior citizens tend to vote earlier than others- the exit polls were correct.

2) The 2004 election was centered around terrorism

3) Things change

4) You do not understand research methods like polling

No one in the business questions Pew Research Group's work.

I wonder if you question FoxNews' recent poll that had Bush with a 41% approval rating. That can't possibly be right because he won in 2004 right?

If you read the entire thread its abundantly clear you were making an offer(which I gladly accepted). You cannot now quote things out of context and try to welch your way out.

Now answer my questions.

Senior citizens, especially in Florida, voted Republican so how would that have helped Kerry. Btw, if this poll is accurate (which it isn't), then the Republicans should lose seats in the congress, and a Democrat should win the next presidential election.

[/ QUOTE ]I will bet you up to $3,000 that the Republicans lose seats in Congress in '06.

We can have a trusted member of these boards like GrannyMae or someone be the holder.

Also, you can't draw conclusions like the '08 presidential election outcome from a poll like this.

Please offer some evidence that this poll is flawed. I will accept other polls that show contrary results.

Here are some places to start:

Ridiculous. He said how low would it have to go to make it a 1-1 shot. He didn't say he'd then happily accept whichever ridiculously low number you came up with.
