"Surely they can't all suck." No, they don't. I own about half of them. None of them are awful, except for Shaggy. Shaggy is terrible. The vomiting was a natural reaction to anyone else indicating something he likes. -Michael [/ QUOTE ] I will always have a special kind of hate for Shaggy- the first summer I worked as a wedding DJ I would have some little snotnosed kid come up to me at least 400 times a night and tell me to "Play Shaggy". All that said, "Hope" is a really good song. |

Can I hear more review of the new Audioslave album, i kind of like the single "Doesn't remind me" or whatever the title is. I loved the first albumm, and am a fan of chris cornell and RATM. I just don't see how this album could be bad.

It's significantly less good than the first album. All the parts are still there, things just don't come together like they should, strange for the second album.

Due to an unforseen long game on the radio on the way back, I only got to listen to some of the albums in their entirety.
In order of preference of those I listened to: 1. Pearl Jam - Riot Act- This album is awesome. I loved it. 2. U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind - Very good. 3. Ludacris - The Red Light District - Also very good. 4. Fat Joe - All or Nothing - Pretty good, some real good songs, but too many songs trying to set similar hooks. 5. Shaggy - Hotshot - Decent, screw you all, I just like his voice and there are some very easy songs to listen to on this album. 6. Billy Corgan - The Future Embrace - The first few songs were decent, the rest is terrible. Somewhere along the line he forgot how to rock. I'll update in a while when I've had a chance to listen to the rest. |

#16 is a good show. If you're not listening to the show all the way through (as I'd recommend), Listen too disc 2 ASAP. Halloween Show, Velvet Underground "Loaded" in it's entirety, just awesome. Disc 4 is mostly good, but why did they have to play Prince Caspian?
The rest of the show is just ok for Live Phish, which still is better than a lot of music. A good setlist but some diapointments I hope you didn't buy this for the 30 minute Wolfman's Brother, cause you will be let down. Mike's Song is just ok & a little on the short side. Great version of Run Like an Antelope, but is that song really ever not great? NICU & Tweezer are also very good. |

[/ QUOTE ] well maybe i was harsh. i dont actually OWN any of those cds, so i can't speak on behalf of those current albums, but I break the list down like this: I'd actually listen to based off of their older albums: Coldplay Pearl Jam Luda (comedic value) Billy Corgan Audioslave Would never listen to ever, what possessed you to buy them? Shaggy Fat Joe Sean Paul Just dont care for: Phish U2 I guess my question is why...why Fat Joe? What has he ever done that was worth hearing? And shaggy and Sean Paul. Maybe I'm missing out on something. I doubt it. |
