Dynasty:

Agreed. Folding on the turn should not be amongst the options considered here by a serious player.

"I think you need to reread Mikey's original post. He wanted to fold his AsQh on the turn. Folding on the turn is a terrible choice."

-of course I wanted to fold on the turn...but then I realized I had outs to the flush. Here I posted an exercept from my original post.....just incase you read past it.

"I say to myself....MUCK IT...you are done...he either has the flush.....two pair....a set.....you know it because he's RAISING YOU ON THE TURN!!!!!! FOLD!!!!!!!!

Ok....but you know what....I have outs to a flush.....Yeah......that's it....now the pot is offering me....(6 1/2 to 1) to river this flush..... and I know I'll get paid off if I hit....ok.....I'll call.... river... red rag....

I check with the intention of folding....he bets....

I call...(because I let my emotion get in the way)
he shows me the gutshot straight he made with 5c8s."

-I wanted to fold on the turn, that is usually a default play........but I had outs to the flush that is why I called

its the valet parking that puts me under when I play

if not for that, I'd be a winner for sure!

Low limit omaha is easier than holdem if you just remember to always draw at the nuts when there's real action and don't fall in love with a pot just cause it's big. I can't believe all the times I see people chase all the way with the 4th nut low draw. Ouch.

Well I am, and so should Mikey. Concentrate on your studies, and try blackjack the next time when you're in Atlantic City (when the snow clears).

yeah, blackjack, great idea - play mistake-free and you get a 1% edge to go with your gigantic swings!

lol, I was thinking the same thing. A raked game is the only way to win at gambling. You just have to play better than your opponents to a degree that overcomes the rake. So just find easier opponents (go down in limit).
