Yeah, Frangos' QQ laydown was a phenomenal decision.

Results oriented.

This is the lamest response ever. You're just assuming that he's being results oriented for the sake of being a douche. If El Diablo had said "I really thought Nick made a great laydown with that QQ" you wouldn't have said that. Lame. Lame. Lame.

edit: with that said, it was an easy laydown everytime.

...And if Frangos had been against jacks and tens that guy would not have said it was a phenomenal decision.

Default What about Lindgrens play?

I agree with the orginal post on the mistakes made by Chad and the "asain dude" and the following posts discussing what I think is an easy lay down of QQs.

What I can't believe is that no one has commented on Erik Lindgren and his horrible play of JJs. He sees one limper before him and 6 to act after him, so he limps along. I'm not sure that I want to limp with JJs but I'm sure someone will tell me why I'm wrong. At the time I assumed that he was hoping for a raise so he could reraise and isolate, or if it was a substantial raise fold his Jacks cheaply (weak passive). So of course everyone else limps along until the Tran raises with QJ (why would he want to reopen with QJ??) Chad calls with K10 (why??) and Erik just smooth calls. Other than sweetning the pot for his 8 to 1 shot of catching a J on the flop, what has he accomplished??
Of course the flop comes out with an over and he folds to a bet.

I would just like to say that I disagree 100% with this assessment.

Out of curiousity, what is your take on why he raised to an amount which is an obvious pot builder? Sh1ts and giggles?

i don't get why someone would raise out of the BB with QJs and open up the betting again out of position for the whole hand - it cuts down his implied odds and gets his money in out of position with a not-so-great hand

but that's just my opinion
