I thought it was very entertaining.

They acted probably exactly the same way I would if I had that kind of money and ESPN told me they wanted to follow my friends and I around a golf course for a day.

Only difference would be that I'd have a lot more alcohol than what they showed on TV.

I don't think he has a problem, since a gambling problem only becomes a problem when you consistently lose, which Phil does not do Besides, anybody who is a professional poker player is a somewhat compulsive gambler to a certain extent anyway. When Phil files for bankruptcy, then I'll change my opinion, until then, he's just a gambler and a damn good one at that

For the record, this is not true. One can be a compulsive gambler and be a winner. The issue is the compulsion, and there can be severe consequences even if you're "winning." If your relationships are fractured, if you're missing time from work because you were at the casino too late the night before, if you can't imagine playing a round of golf (or bowling, or horseshoes, or whatever) without betting on the outcome, if you're having to play for higher and higher stakes to keep the "edge," you may well have a gambling problem ... even if you're winning.
