I think Hand 1 is played flawlessly. I'm not ready to give either opponent credit for a FH (or quads) on the turn, so I'm absolutely calling 1 more bet getting about 8:1 with a gutshot + FD. The flop call is just as easy given the pot odds.

I think Hand 2 is ludicrously bad. Fold preflop. Fold the flop. The turn you can probably get away with calling, but you should never have gotten there.

Congrats on your two royals, and welcome to the forums.

You should play on the bad beat jackpot tables.

Fold preflop?

This is terrible advice, the only advice you should take on that hand is folding the flop. Don't fold preflop with KTs when table conditions are like that. Ever.

The OP gave no information on table conditions in his post. Seeing after the fact that half the world limped behind him does not make his limp correct.

If the table is extremely loose and passive preflop, then it becomes a decent limp. Only then.

If they are tight and passive preflop you can limp too. Personally I play KTs here almost all the time bar some insane maniac behind.
