Re: The toughness of games at absolute
[ QUOTE ]
I quit these games. I was doing fine, but I can make more at Party, even without a 10k rakeback check every month. [/ QUOTE ] Well, that's one out. When are the rest of you f'ers leaving? |

Re: The toughness of games at absolute
Seems to be a lot of players just grinding out their bonuses and giving little action at Pacific. However, a skilled LAG could find opportunity there IMO

Re: The toughness of games at absolute
WhaT kind of WR numbers is everyone putting up at AP? Does anyone have a significant sample like 100K or so at 5/10 or above?
I have like 65-70K at 5/10 and am at .7BB/100. In this period i have had two 300BB downswings and one 400BB downswing so the variance is awful with such a low WR and a tough game. Staying off tilt is definintely my main focus but when running bad it always seems like someone is pushing me around. So I get my spew on quit often over there. |

That seems like a pretty decent earn rate to me, actually. Since you've been there for a while, do you notice any difference between now and a few months ago?

Re: The toughness of games at absolute
No not too much really. Now there are definitely a few more props and good players at the tables but the difficulty of the game hasnt changed all that much.
Playing at AP has improved my game tremedously I think. I mean its like playing in 2+2 game everyday but with the ability to still make decent money. I am curious if anyone is earing over 1BB/100 in that game? |

Re: The toughness of games at absolute
I'm at 2.7BB/100 over 20k hands, mostly at 10/20.

[/ QUOTE ] Earlier in this thread I asked if the 5/10 game at Absolute might be similar to some higher limit games elsewhere. Can someone else offer some insight about this? If 5/10 Absolute is good preparation for Party 10/20, then I might stick it out there, so long as I can simply tread water. |

Re: The toughness of games at absolute
on the whole it's tougher than party 10/20. Disclaimer: i haven't played party 10/20 in half a year.
