i am privileged to have information that clued me in weeks ago to this storm

Are you sleeping with mother nature?

I can't see a ten inch snow fall on an Ohio Valley storm, maybe a Noreaster but an Ohio Valley seems like the weather will be worse in Pittsburgh than Philly. No mother nature sex, just 27 years experience of snow storms in PA.

[/ QUOTE ]

25 years of experience here.

And no, not in bed with mother nature, just going on fact. I doubt it will be worse in Pittsburgh than it will be in Philly, it's moving too fast through Pittsburgh for that to happen, and your snow will be done falling by Sunday morning. Again, more trouble for people GOING to the game than PLAYING in the game - As I said before, I'm not worried about the snow for the game, they're going to have the field clear - the wind is going to be coming from the northeast at 15-25mph on Sunday afternoon, and if you've ever been to the Linc you know that with the open end zone that can spell serious problems for both the kicking and passing games (which is fine for Atlanta, as they have no real passing game anyway)

Good luck

do you think it'd be a good idea to take the under as well since i got the eagles at -5 ??? - bodog has it at 38 right now. i'm worried that the eagles are gonna have a tough time scoring tds and might win the game by a field goal if the wind is really that bad. so take the under along with the points just in case? what do you guys think?

peace - jeff

38 is a key number, if you can find it at 38.5 you'd be a little better off

Didn't the O/U open at 41? I would highly recommend not betting this line now. Even with the weather change the books have adjusted the line. I am not saying it won't happen, just saying that it is usually a bad (horrible) idea to bet a line once it has moved 3 points.

My line opened at 41 and I grabbed it right away on the risk of the storm. As Ccx has been saying, the weather will be brutal even if the snow is over (my undergrad degree is in meteorology so this is one of the few times I can pretend to know what I'm talking about). Very windy and frigid. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't score 25 points combined.

If it keeps dropping you might be able to set up a nice middle.

Jeff
I don't get it- your worried about Phily scoring touchdowns, why would you be betting on them -5?

Default eagles -5.5

And the over/under has dropped to 38. Lots of movement here since the storm advsories went on.

What to do, what to do?

i got it at -5 before they called the weather. i'm only concerned b/c their passing game might be a little screwed with the winds gusting.
