I play 3/6 6-max or less which is too profitable for me to move up. (I suck at poker anyway). I am moving soon at a 5/10 Party table near you. It can't be worse than Abs or Prima where I play now. You Americans are ignorant on politics.

Michael. I'm playing 1/2 6-max and have been for my last 10k hands. I build up my banroll playing .5/1 full ring and I'm easily rolled for 2/4. However I want to feel comfortable playing 6-max before moving up to 2/4, and I'm not quite there yet. I've been playing poker for 8 months but I don't have the time to play as much as I'd like after getting a job.

I'm trying to find what you're responding to there, but it seems to just be a bout of Tourette's.

Started 15 months ago with $20 on Pacific at .05/.10. Worked my way up to .50/1.00 in February. Found out about bonuses. Learned 6-max at 1/2 (before .50/1.00 6-max existed at Party). Played 2/4 there as well (and still do occasionally when I'm in the mood for full ring or have a bonus to clear).

Switched over to Stars and my last 40k hands have been at 2/4 6-max then 3/6 6-max and now 5/10 6-max.

I'm only a slight winner at 5/10 6-max over 7k hands and a loser over 7k hands at party 3/6, but a big winner at 2/4 and 3/6 Stars (both 6-max) over many more.

I mostly posted in micros with a few in hush and small stakes, but will likely be making this my new home.

These threads are so much fun. Gives me that warm fuzzy feeling...

They call me Dan. I'm currently whoring 1/2 6-max at Absolute, with another shot at 2/4 coming up soon - probably at another site.

FWIW, I started at the free games on UB, then some 1c/2c, then over to Stars where NateDog and I met at the 2c/4c games. (We were easy to pick out, since we were the only TAGs on the site.) 45k hands later, it's for real money.

Dan should be playing 5/10 IMO, and I should be back at .02/.04.

My name is Clayton...

And I play 2/4 and 3/6 NL on Empire, BoDog, and Party. Often I lose my money on Stars with MTT's.

I started playing last Feb at 1/2 while extremely underbankrolled. I had a fortunate run, and combined with 2+2 advice I managed to build up a solid roll by June. I took the summer off playing pretty much, and started at 1/2 6m in Sept.

10K hands at 1/2 6m, 10K at 3/6 6m and now I'm closing in on my first 10K at 5/10 with the occassional shot at 10/20 when I feel up to it. I will probably actually stick at 5/10 as my main game for a little while longer though instead of just moving up when I hit 500BB's for the next level. A lot of money goes around in that game, and I think I need to experience some real swings so I know I can handle it. Also, I would like a big sample of hands to know that I'm actually beating the game as opposed to just running well.

I started a couple years ago playing a few hours a week. Started with SNG's and a $250 bankroll. I built it up to $2000 and switched to full ring 1/2. About a year ago I made the jump to 6 max and haven't looked back. Making my way up the ladder currently playing 5/10 6 max at Pacific and a lot more hours.

Almost ready for 10/20 and start adding tables and making a real go of all this.

I played about 40k hands of .5/1 and about 10k of 1/2 5max at Paradise in early 2004. Took about a year off from poker to finish school and from general lack of interest.

I knew I would be back, just wasn't sure when. Started up again mid October of this year with $150 on .25/.5 full ring. I felt this would be a good level to start to get things going. Got up 600 BB over 10k hands, I was running very hot and the people at .25/.5 are just awful anyway.

Now I'm playing .5/1 6max with about 5400 hands, usually hopping around picking up bonuses where I can, mostly at Absolute, Stars, Party and Paradise though.

No idea when I'll be moving up, I'll probably start taking some shots at 1/2 around the first of the year.
