PT + a HUD aren't much different from having someone standing next to you at a casino taking notes and updating you on the players every few minutes. I don't believe casinos ban this.

TOP should be banned outright. This clearly gives players an unfair advantage.

Yeah, that's why I don't feel very strongly about it, but at least at the casino you have to actually be there to do it instead of just opening 4 tables and going to dinner. If you have to draw the line somewhere I think this is where I would draw it, but whatever.

Default The Main Point You\'re Missing

We have every a right to maintain historic records of hands in order to insure we are not being cheated or colluded against. To say we shouldn't be allowed to store hand histories is absolutely ridiculous!

As for HUD's, they are a way of life for online players and are here to stay. If the sites were smart they'd incorportate them into their software themselves! Having a HUD does not make anyone a winner. You still have to play poker. It's nothing more than an evolution to the game. Get used to it.

I do understand the point in eliminating data mining softwares like poker edge, etc. However, I strongly suspect that those who oppose softwares that track hands you were involved in (as well as HUD's), are losing players who feel further taken advantage of in the game of poker. Hence all the whining about them.

Im all for banning these programs. This is why most tables on Party and other sites above the minimum amounts are rock gardens. They will stay that way until mediocre 4 tablers are forced to make tougher decisions about cold calling raises.....
