i don't know. i wouldn't describe myself as anti-social, but i absolutely abhor the idea of meeting somebody that i already 'know' from some non-'life' medium. i would only want to see people from high school in high school. i want to keep msn messenger friends on msn messenger. etc.
i happily 'downgrade' and talk to people i know in real life on msn messenger, for example, and continue to hang out with them in person. but i am deeply reticent to 'upgrade' anybody from one thing to a more real thing. talking to el diablo on the phone, for example, was a stretch for me and i only did it because i had a time-sensitive business related question that was best discussed via phone. now that i have spoken with him on the phone, it wouldn't be a big deal to do it again. but i still wouldn't 'want' to meet him.

I have met a pretty ridiculous amount of 2p2ers. THe only one that comes to mind that I havent met and would like to is Dr. Dom. I'm probably forgetting a few though.

[/ QUOTE ] I probably would have felt the same way a couple of months ago. And then I went to the NYC Crimson Challenge event, met some people, and had a lot of fun. Since then, I've met more 2p2ers from the STT forum this past weekend, and gone for pizza with some OOTers/Mid Stakes Limit guys, all of which have been a lot of fun. I don't understand why you are opposed to meeting people that you talk to all the time. We all have a common background, in tiddlywinks, and the rest grows from there.
