the NFL is now saying that there was no statement admitting the calls was wrong. plus the toomer one was definitely a catch.

He had two feet down with a football move - I don't see it any other way. Unfortunately all the angles on the play were from behind - from in front, it would have clearly shown he had possession and then lost it.
