Is Olga Varkonyi the wife of the ex-champ? She's behind a nice stack of chips going into Day #3?

[/ QUOTE ]

According to multiple sources (including cardplayer), she is.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep, and according to gutshot, the earrings that she's wearing during play are two links from her husband's '02 championship bracelet. How sweet.

Bubble will only last first two hands.

I agree, from 1 to 3 hands *max*. There's 65-ish tables and 56x people; unless three quarters of them are folding every hand and no one knows what a big bubble means, this will not last long.

I wouldn't even worry if I was the 3200 guy, as long as I got seated in LMP or later.

Really? Don't you think that most of the people with 20K chips or less are going to want to ensure that they make the money before taking any risks? I guess there are a lot of tables and a lot of short stacks, but I sure wouldn't feel too hopeful if I had less than 10K chips left.

Any hint that Harrah's will pony up something for today's "bubble casualties"?

you'd think that one of the web sites would provide sortable lists like they have for golf events so you can look at the leaderboard or by alphabetical or whatever and update it every 60 minutes or so. Here it would be nice to be able to sort by table so you can see who's sitting where and what stacks look like at each table.

do they draw for button at start of play today or is seat #9 assigned the button?

oh well...

I'm trying to figure out how many females are left but there are way too many androgynous and/or ethnic first names...
