Re: I now fold AK a lot pf.
This is a VERY tight range from pokerstove.
Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 534,238,848 games 1.152 secs 463,748,999 games/sec Board: Dead: equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 54.9190 % 48.95% 05.97% { AKs } Hand 2: 45.0810 % 39.11% 05.97% { 77+, AJs+, KQs, AJo+ } --- You made a bad fold. Do you see why? |

Re: I now fold AK a lot pf.
Alright one more post before I give up..
Ok, stop trying to tell yourself you made a good read, there is no read there, a guuy with a little over 5BB's pushed, he could have a HUGE range of hands, and you yourself admitted it included big Aces. Therefor a fold here is bad, you are missing out on chips that you should have. We're telling you this so you get better. And for the Masters hand i don't know what you're talking about 'didnt do so good' it was to get opinions about different appraoches, there werent right or wrongs (well except for a few things), and most people that had different poitns of view could actually defend them, unlike what you're doing now w/ "My read was right". Seriously though, stop fighting with people that are trying to help you out. |

[/ QUOTE ] There were three people in the hand and the big stack was not going away since he was the loosest luckiest SOB I have seen in a while so his range is huge and he's coming along for the ride even if I go all in, as long as he has 5T or anything close to it. You need to recalculate . Do you see why? |

Re: I now fold AK a lot pf.
And you don't want to go against him w/ his random cards?
Don't play scared, in tournaments you have to take marginally +EV situations... and this one isn't even that marginal. |

Re: I now fold AK a lot pf.
You all appear to assume that I have this guy isolated and it wasn't the case.
If I can be sure I go one on one with this guy I do it in an instant. But I have a SUPER loose opponent with the big stack still to act. I should go in here? Show me that argument and I'm an ear. |

Re: I now fold AK a lot pf.
Especially if he will call with "any 2" then yes you should push. Even if he was a tight player, or the best player in the world, or anybody at all, this is a push.

Re: I now fold AK a lot pf.
If he is playing any 2 as you say, then no you do not want it heads up. You cannot be worried about someones random cards behind you, thats just mathematically stupid.

The only problem w/ this guy coming along is if he has AA or KK. So basically by folding you're playing scared of two hands. If he has a lower PP, then you're flipiping w/ shorter stacks nearly dead money in. And if he's as lose as you say, he'll probably come along w/ a bunch of hands you have dominated, and you'll be in good shape to nearly triple up... i really see no downsides here. |
