Default Re: 3 ugly hands (2 of 3)

I'm confused. So often I've been told I play the small blind too tight. If only I would see the flop, some say, and only continue on with two pair or better, I would see improved results. I always assumed that if that advice was correct, it would mean, per force, that if I saw the flop and continued on with less than two pair, I would be losing money, compared to folding preflop. If I'm right so far, it means that what you did Clark, saw the flop, and continued on without two pair or better, is the worst off all paths, according to those who tell me I play the blinds too tight, which happens to be, uh, you.

Hi Clarky!

I didn't even see the heart draw in Clark's hand; of course you are right.

But not about staying out of the discussion. Maybe we need a generally agreed upon definition or approximation, at least, of "way ahead, way behind." Again, I assumed way behind means you need to hit twice. As in being behind is needing to catch, being "way" behind means needing to catch and catch again.

If what I posted made you want to stay out of the discussion, then my post was the worst it could possibly be. Posts should encourage further discussion. Thanks for pointing out my mistake on the six/four outs.
