ok so i guess you were kidding but i its not really funny or ironic to say that you are a huge favorite in match that you actually are a big favorite in (as far as HU matches go).

It would definitely be possible for someone of your caliber to think they were a 5-1 favorite. Guess it just went over my head, and fyodor's.

Like you say it is pretty sad when someone is a favourite for them to go bragging about it.

No I was aware he was kidding but I just wanted to see what kind of odds he would put in writing and then how he would back out of a bet.

Like you say though, it is pretty sad when someone is a favourite for them to go bragging about it.

Private Joker and I will be playing Thursday night about 10:30 Eastern.

I am TDbank and his name has "joker" in it somewhere.

At 10:38 Eastern, I'll be available for condolence matches. PM me and I'll play someone at that time.

Kidding or not, odds and what not - I am a big favourite to win this game. I need to make this game more important than it really is so I can care enough about the outcome to apply myself seriously and win the damned thing!

As for 9 out of 10 won games over a series of match I am pretty spot on. 5-1 on one single game, I can't really make a correct judgement here until I actually have played him.

Spicy, I think you may be waayyyy overestimating how much wiggle room there is with 30 BBs. A 40 hand dry spell = game over. There' a serious amount of variance inherent to these matches that I'd daresay it's hard to be more than a 2:1 favorite over anyone.

I have read quite a few of b dibs hand histories on pokerhand over the years. And unless he has improved dramatically and has gained tons of heads-up experience I think you are overestimating his pokerskills and underestimating mine.
