they were suited, and no I probably wasn't winning AT THE TIME, but I put them both on AK. I put the small blind on a K and the Big blind on a weak A. I figure, add in my flush outs, and I should be fine. The question wasn't about the preflop play. Read the title.

by the way, when the turn came, my read of AK turned to a JQ for both. It was too unlikely for them to catch the A. The river K cemented my read.

Hi Tom,

Divide the limit by 10.

Wait, divide it by 100.

I'm constantly amazed by how often when someone comes up with a killer hilarious sarcasm filled post that the masses take it seriously. Great post.

I like that people's expectations have been so diminished that facing a hand and explanation that defies logic, they just assume the poster is an idiot and not that he's joking.

I stopped after I read this far...when I am looking for a challenge, I step up and play the 15 game with a bunch of donks at Prairie Meadows but this sounds like the table from hell!!! A -1BB/hr player doesn't even cover the rake.

We are playing 7 handed at a club in Chicago.
No reads but these, only been at the table for an hour.Four of the guys are really solid players. One is a tricky player who is one of the best players I have played against. The last player is the reason I am in the game. I'd say he is a -1 BB/hour player.

You could have saved a lot of agony (and money) by folding preflop. Calling three cold with 76s? Perhaps the other players were in the game because of you.
