Re: Party chat about PS cheating?
[ QUOTE ]
Of course it is. I meant that playing live in Norway is not legal. You cannot organize a tourney, and advertize or have a legal cardroom. Do I really have to explain something so obvious? [/ QUOTE ] And how do you explain the Norwegian Open? Also lots of casinos in Scandinavia have poker tables. You have no idea what youre talking about |

Re: Party chat about PS cheating?
That is up for debate, in fact it is not up for debate. Read the fine print in the user agreement. It is up to the individual user to determine legality of internet poker in their jurisdiction. Having said that, it is illegal to play in most parts of the world online. Does it stop me? No but don't kid yourself.
This also makes it VERY difficult for such organizations to ever indict cheaters. It would be sort of like the drug dealer calling the cops when they got robbed. As consumers, the best we can do is self-police and encourage the sites to be as proactive as possible. If they had a site on how to kill somebody and get away with it, it is still illegal! Some crazy Attorney General looking to make a name for himself/herself could have a hayday with pp, ps or any of the sites operating on the internet. Can you imagine the press? |

You have to consider that in these scandunavians countries, poker is illegal and has mostly been played by semicriminals with no scruples. That cheating on net exists, I know from personal experience(that is I have seen it, not done it myself). [/ QUOTE ] Haha!! Where do you live...! lol Haha man that was the dumbest thing i have ever heard! I guess i'am a semicriminals with no scruples.. Watch out people! I'm going to take your money! Ok. The fact. We have 4 casinos in our small little country. You can play poker there. NOT ILLEGAL. You can play poker with you friends at home. NOT ILLEGAL. You can start an poker club if you not make an profit on it and if its in an closed enviroment. NOT ILLEGAL. But you can't start your own casino.. Or club to make an profit. ILLEGAL. Have an nice day! But you better watch out if you go tho scandinavia.. We might take you money.. Remember we are "semicriminals with no scruples".. hehe.. Re: Party chat about PS cheating?
I know of course that there are also honest players, my appologies to them, but they know that what I am saying is true.
Appology accepted. But I don't have a clue as to what you are talking about. However, I have heard rumors about the fact that our minister of justice in Sweden, Thomas Bodström, enjoys poker. And concerning the original post, Erik123 is from Sweden, and Sarpsburg is actually located in Norway. Now, the Norwegians on the other hand... |

It's a combination of factors. They are really stupid, English is not their first language and they get slapped for speaking properly in prison.
