The worst I have dished out:
I have TT in the BB in a NL SNG, blinds 100/200, we both have about 1000. SB raises 200 and I call. God, I was terrible at NL back then.
Anyway flop comes Jc9c2. He checks and I go all in for my last 800. He calls with red Jacks. I have black tens and catch running clubs for the winner.
The worst I have taken, I posted on RiveredAgain.com:
I have K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Flop is something like 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet, someone raises, I 3bet, he calls. Turn 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet and he calls. River 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. He shows Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] , check check and we chop.

Is it me or did you just chop the nut straight flush? Your Td gives you the higher straight flush. Maybe you meant KdQd?

I dislike these suckouts as they are generally a strong hand vs strong hand and the weaker strong hand comes back to win. I like ridiculous suckouts where you make huge action and somehow get lucky and win, eg, the following, where I flop T85 with my K3o and come back to beat the flopped set of 88; note that I am a 96-4 underdog on the flop and happily put in 3 bets:

Party Poker 1/2 10 Handed

Dealt to Brian462 [ Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ] in early position.

UTG calls, Brian462 raises, EP1 calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls

12 Small Bets in the pot. 6 see the flop, I figure myself for the best hand ATM.

Flop is : [ 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ]

Not bad but with this many the flush is very possible, I do at least have the Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and a high overpair.

SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Brian462 bets, EP1 raises, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds UTG folds, Brian462 re-raises, EP1 caps, Brian462 calls

Allright, maybe the re-raise was overboard but I thought he could easily be on smaller trips, 2 pair, or the single A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and I wanted to make sure he paid. I've seen many players overplay these types of flops especially against PF raisers and I think half the fish at Party would cap with the single A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] all the way through the turn followed up by a river bluff if they missed.

20 small bets in the pot.

Turn is : [ Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ] giving me trips. This gives me the best hand against anything but a made flush.

Brian462 checks, EP1 bets, Brian462 raises, EP1 re-raises, Brian462 calls

Okay, so he wasn't lying about having the flush. I call with huge odds hoping to fill up or complete my own flush on the river(though really it's pretty obvious to me that he has the Ace but another club would make the river worth calling. It's probably worth check-calling even if I don't fill up or hit the flush.

16 big bets in the pot.

River is : [ Qh ] giving me quads! And not just quads, but RUNNER RUNNER quads(those are the best kind).

Brian462 checks, EP2 bets, Brian462 raises, EP2 raises, Brian462 raises, EP2 calls

I take down 24 big bets and send this guy on a rant about how terrible I am. I played it up by acting very stupid and gave a few remarks like "I just had a feeling the queens would come", and "QQ is UBER, how could anyone lay it down?".

Really, I think I overplayed the turn is all. Everything else I would play the exact same way in the future. Anyway, that one hand makes up for alot of the crappy beats I've received in the last week. I'm sure I'd have been as pissed as that guy was(though I wouldn't have said anything).

Default Re: The most true bad beat I ever GAVE

I was on the losing end of a similar hand in back-to-back SNG's the other day. I had pocket pairs, and 3 of a kind flopped giving me the full house. My opponent bet. It thought, "No way he flopped quads, what are the odds?" I raised all-in and got called with quads...TWICE IN AN HOUR! I know what you're thinking. "Why bet so much when such a dangerous flop fell?" I make many questionable moves, but losing twice in an hour with a full house to quads. I haven't figured it but its got to be like 20,000 to 1.
