Re: No Pre Flop Play Analysis Please
for me T9s has always been borderline here, i probably call it around 80%. T8s and J8s are folds though. T7s gets mucked faster than 27o
thanks for the comments miles, would your advice be different at the average 1/2 or 2/4 table? (ie at a tighter and more aggressive table) |

FWIW I played the hand for opportunities to be in a situation like this. I don't think that there is a lot of difference in playing the hand I did coupled with the flop I got and playing KQ with a flop and turn that gave me two pair. Trust me three aces would have found me no matter what I played. [/ QUOTE ] You don't see a difference between Ax getting re-raisd on an AKxQ board and Ax getting re-raised on an ATx7 board? |

With over 2000 post I would have thought that you could understand what it means when someone request that you not comment on the preflop play on a hand. [ QUOTE ] Preflop: Fold. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Buc, this was bad form. Jrz... I'm going to read the rest of this thread, but I'm curious as to why you're betting on the river... |

I could see saying something like "these are uber-hard to play post-flop, and therefore I'll only do it if not much is happening on other tables, which is about 80% of the time" or "I'll do it if my image is sparkly, which it is about 80% of the time"... But if you say, "I look at my watch, and if it's at 48 seconds or less, I play it." ... now I'm confused. Is this a rational approach to preflop strategy? I see approaching something like this more with deciding whether to raise or limp rather than limp or fold. |
