Guys, stay tuned for next week's episode, where KKF goes over to the limit forum and tells them how to all play poker!

[/ QUOTE ]

FWIW, I am sure that JV would be better than all but a small handful of players on this forum very quickly if he switched to NL as his main game.

[/ QUOTE ]

Likewise for KKF!

Taking standard lines is great at low- and medium-stakes. It may be the best way to get money. Once you reach higher levels, most of the players know what a standard line is. When I'm paying attention and really playing well, I prey on cookie-cutter 2+2 players because they're so easy to read and won't put their stacks in without huge hands. I don't believe standard lines are the best way to make money at higher stakes, and depending on the specific game, it may even be unprofitable.

I have no trouble believing this, but that doesn't absolve him of the original post's foolishness.

Default For the record:

This was intended for the LIMIT mid/high forum. It was not intended for me to come preaching in a forum I don't post in.

After I realized I blew it, I figured a 3rd crosspost would be egregious.

This thinking has lead me down the road of further and further complacency.

Maybe it doesn't for other people.

Do I have to bring up James282?

When I stop making six figures a month, I'll jump over to NL.

[/ QUOTE ]

Of course playing NL isn't that hard if you have a firm limit grounding. James plays pretty well, runs extremely hot, and has had a good couple of months. Kudos to him!

I have no problem with you but you really just came off as an ass by quoting figures.

Anyway, whatever, good luck to ya.
