I'd swear out loud and click that call button for this pot.

I'd call this river, but that's because if MP2 ever turns over an awful bluff I would be compelled to commit hara-kiri.

Seriously though, the CO's river call is totally irrelevant. We know that he has KK/QQ a huge percentage of the time...so the only question is, are we losing to MP2 a whopping 96% of the time? I'm not so sure.

Another way to look at it. Say MP2 donks the river and CO folds. Do you also fold?

If not, I think you definitely need to rethink your stance.

I agree with this except for the hari-kiri part.

This is awful. Call down and lose.

26:1 on a call... TWENTY SIX TO ONE.

You have to be beat 97% of the time for you to be wrong. NINETY SEVEN PER CENT.

you hand has SOME s/d value.. .maybe the busted flush draw is trying to steal?!

bad. I dont like.

edit: think about all that equity you contributed.. toss for one measly donkbet? sure I expect to see a set, a stright or 2 pair.. but thats only an expectation. I think your good at least 4% of the time here

nice hand on all streets. I think anyone who calls the river doesn't understand the effect of a parlay

That's an interesting point Borodog. I don't know what I would have done had the CO folded. During the hand, I wasn't so sure I had the CO beat and figured him for 99 or TT when he -bet the turn, so when he called it made the river fold easier.

[/ QUOTE ]

the call is easy if the CO folds. however, there's a pretty decent chance he has a set or the other two aces and for that reason you fold

I'd like the river fold if we had capped the turn and led the river and were raised.

Checking the river invites a bluff enough that I think you may be folding the best hand 1 in 20 times. CO will call with many hands we beat very often.

first of all, the guy has a set more often than he has an overpair right now. even if you consider them equal, it has a huge affect. you have to beat BOTH of them. if you beat MP 7% and you beat the CO 50%, that swings it to a break-even call
