This interests me...I make more off excessively tight players than any other single player-type...

[/ QUOTE ]

I gaurantee that you do not. Also, tight players are more likely to improve and become threats to game quality. I should link to my stats post from a year ago when I was a 19/13 player at 5/10 6-max.

I make a lot of replies and I try to be helpful on this forum, so I'm sure my attitude seems paradoxical.

Luckily 90% of the strategy posts here will be unintelligible to someone who doesn't have a solid basis in SH play. I know it was that way for me before I learned the fundamentals.

I used to look at a hand post and the only thing I would get from it is, "wow these guys are insane."

I've been lurking for probably 4 months now and just started posting recently. Like some have mentioned, it's tough offering an opinion when you think its hard for anyone to take a newbie seriously. after reading this post, I'm going to try and start posting more opinions. I play 10/20 6-max and just started taking shots at the 20/40 games. I play at 30/20/2.3, so in case you see me posting you may want to keep that in mind.

cheers,
Rich

Yeah I think a forum split would help quite a bit. The game texture at <10/20 is so different, and it just makes life simpler for everybody.

Ive been lurking for about the past week. I deposited some of my bankroll into Stars to clear the bonus and ended up playing my first 8,500 hands of .50/1 6-max there. I don't input my opinion on too many hands as I am clearly a newbie at the 6-max game. Im on a slight heater running at 3bb/100 but this is over a short period of hands, and against easy opposition.

Whatever happened to the idea of splitting the forum anyhow? I thought we were so close before in our campaign.

Tight players definitely do not get in the way. They get out of the way. Which creates profitable opprotunities with loose players.
