I didn't watch this, but maybe the fact that he cleaned out this pokemon guy means he's just a limit player who really doesn't understand NL?

Those pot-sized ace-high calls seem like a sign of someone who doesn't understand the different between limit and NL.

You're going to need to make some calls with ace-high or middle pair for one bet in HU LHE. He's probably just 'extrapolating' very poorly.

What caused you to "realize" that it's pokerman? Cuz it's not.

really? you focus on hands instead of names??

wow, well for me personally i know that if its "superpokerman" that he's likely to be worse at poker than most. he probably overplays his hands, raises too much, bluffs too much, doesn't understand position that well and is a loser at the game.

however, if its "superpokemon" then you have to factor in the possiblity he could be a good player putting a reverse "im a child who likes cartoons" tell on you so you think he does what "superpokerman" would be more libel to do.

turns out he has the name of the 2nd with some of the charateristics of the first.

superpokemon: 54/30/1.2 over 250 hands.

i totally agree w/ the tendencies you find to determine a good hu player... but i can't think you can determine that from watching for an hour.. sometimes one guy is running really well/very confident while the other guy is having a bad run of sorts.. i think hu is primarily about value betting veeeeeeeery marginal hands and, more than anything else, avoiding tilt

[/ QUOTE ]

You can determine it from watching for an hour or two. cant was also value betting very well and making the marginal calldowns well. I should have copied a few of the hand histories - I am serious when I say he was owning the other guy, who may or may not have been on tilt.

That is excellent analysis of those two names. Seriously.
