Re: QQ with AA flop
Grunching...
if that doesn't represent him not having the Ace, i don't know what does. (either that, or he's got Ace rag for some reason and thinks he has kicker problems) against a thinking weak/tight player you might--MIGHT--get him to lay down KK once in a while, but more likely you're looking at 99-JJ and he's got you on AK so, you really have to bet this and cross your fingers. |

Re: QQ with AA flop
I see "Grunching" all the time and have looked for a definition but cannot find it. Can someone fill me in or point me to the right place? Thanks.
No more guesses? I'll give it a little more time before posting the final result. |

Re: QQ with AA flop
I guess folks are bored with this one. Here are the results:
Button had K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] CO had A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and takes a 12 BB pot. Yes, he called 2 more bets preflop with A4o. I'll keep my eye out for him. Overall, I agree with those that suggest c/c all the way in this situation. I don't think I played it too poorly, but could have played it better. Thanks to all who responded with their thoughts. Again, if anyone can tell me what "grunching" means, I would appreciate it. |

Re: QQ with AA flop
Grunch. Verb. To reply to a hand post "blind," i.e. without looking at accumulated responses. Named after ex-micro poster GrunchCan.
