Grey you orginally said

[ QUOTE ]
If over half of the November approval polls on this page have Bush at 48% or over, you win. If not, I win.

How much are you up for?

[/ QUOTE ]

and then you said

[ QUOTE ]

10-1 odds does not show interest. It shows fear.

How low would it have to be for 1-1 odds? You name it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree to your bet. I wager $100 and I choose Bush's approval rating to be at or above 30%

It was a question. I asked you what it would have to be to take 1-1 odds- meaning you would go no higher.

You really put the over/under at 30%? That's horrible. What do you expect him to do, shoot an immigrant in his backyard?

I hope your not attempting to waffle your way out of this bet. It wasn't a question it was clearly an offer and if you meant I could go no higher you would have specified that.

Come November you can transfer me my $100 bucks via pokerstars.

My statements are followed by question marks now?

Also where did I anywhere mention a hundred dollars?

You sound plenty scared to me.

How low would the percentage have to be to accept a 1-1 of a hundred dollars? Would it have to be 30%?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

30%?!?!? That's what you believe? You would not bet at even odds that Bush would have even a 31% approval rating by Nov. 06?

Well, hell, then I'll bet you $200 at even odds that Bush WILL be above 31%. Since you must believe you'd be getting the best of it, I eagerly await your acceptance.

For whatever reason you did not want to give me odds on a $100 bet you were sure was a lock. Instead you said I could name the precentage point on an even money bet and I did. Not more than five minutes pass and your already waffling like Kerry.

[/ QUOTE ]Yep, and I didn't say that I would take it.

30%

Jeez, even I don't think he'll get that low.

I must decline as my bankroll for betting on politics is all tied up in a bet I have with Grey. If your looking for some action I suggest you contact Grey as well. He seemed very eager to find some "takers ".

What a surprise. It's sad that the policies of your boy Bush have so depressed your economic condition that you can't even take advantage of profitable wagering opportunities. Or maybe you just suck at gambling and have lost your roll.
