I don't see how you can put the Yankees at 55% with them (essentially) tied with Cleveland and a game above oakland. I know they still have a shot to win the division- but a favorite to make the postseason this year seems high.

It's New York. I hate saying it, but if they're in the playoff hunt, especially in the lead, you have to think they'll find a way in.

seriously though we are talking about cleveland and Oakland- and oakland has found ways into the playoffs quite a few times the past 5 years or so.
Also cleveland has games left against Tampa bay and KC- and the last three games of the season are against a chicago team who may very well be shuffling their rotation/resting players after already clinching homefield throughout.
