With one limper out of position I'm not raising to 1000-1200 chips. That's begging to be called.

Now you got it!

Getting called is the whole idea!

So you want to be called by who knows what out of position with AK? Why. Honestly, that just seems silly to me. You either want to win the pot pre-flop or see all 5 cards. All your doing is building a bigger pot that will be tough to get away from. What's your plan on the flop? Again, if it's a continuation bet you're pretty much committing yourself to the pot.

Yea, I want a call!!

The last thing I want to do is turn AK into 72o. I can push and pray for a fold with 72o, don't need to waste my premium hands when all I want is a fold.

So what's your plan on a non A or K flop (which will happen about 2/3 of the time)? Check-fold? Continuation bet and fold? Push?
