I've read many books and know most of the techniques your talking about. I've played a lot of poker. I do make good reads and bets..but i get unlucky more than often..My friends have seen me play and they start laughing when they see my beats. I do sometimes play random cards..but i don't go all overboard and try to steal with them all the time. And i know how to throw away great cards. but as of so far not lucky.

Ok im going to be real harsh. Thus far in this thread you really have embaressed yourself. No one with any understanding of poker would say "I would be good at poker, if I didn't get unlucky." If you can't win at tournaments, its because you aren't good enough. I know you aren't good enough because you are asking if you should be making calls knowing that they are incorrect and just try to get lucky. Recognize that you are not at the level you claim to be, and the learning can begin...

The ironic thing about this thread is, that from what I gather about this guys playing ability, just playing hyper aggressively whenever he feels lucky would probably give him the most realistic shot of winning a big MTT.

It would be like being offered a choice of playing a pro basketball player 1-1 for a million dollars, or make a full length of the court shot for 1 million. Your best bet at that point, is trying to catch a ride on the 5 sigma end of the variance train.
