Default Re: what\'s the strangest place you\'ve woken up after a night of drinki

I have 2:

Once in college we went to a party at some apartment complex…..I guess I decided to sleep in my car but when I woke up in the morning I realized it was not my car. It was the exact same make and model so I guess I couldn’t tell the difference in my drunken state. The funny thing is, I had not driven that night.

Another time I woke up in jail at about 5am and was rather confused. Apparently I drank too much the night before and got myself a PI. To this day I have no recollection of the night before. When I woke up in my bed later that morning I had to check my pants pocket to figure out if I had dreamed this up or had actually been to jail….Sure enough I had a ticket in my pocket and had been to jail.

I'm thinking College Station in general is a pretty strange place to wake up, regardless of your condition.

not the best story, but my personal experience, the strangest place had to be some random house i woke up in. i was at a party, celebrating my friend's recent selection in the MLB draft, i woke up in some random house with a bunch of random people laying in the living room, had no clue where i was. walked to the end of the street, before realizing where i was (waaaay the xxxx away from where the party started). called my brother and he picked me up.

im pretty boring but one of my buddies -- when we were in college -- he always seemes to make it back to his room

but for some reason would always fall asleep in the most [censored] up positions --- normally he would be kneeling face first into his chair, another time he was face first into his couch - with arms extended down into the couch, i guess he decided to go for a drunken shave and dropped his aftershve into the couch -- started looking for it and then went sleepy --- i actually have a pic of this - ill try to find it

im glad im a good boy

I'm pretty sure we made a stop at the dry bean some time during night two. I was arrested somewhere at northgate (as far as I know).

A friend of mine woke up on a couch in the wrong apartment once. He'd stumbled home drunk and went up to the wrong floor when he got to his apartment building.

On a related note, something similar to this happened to me. My college swim team took winter break training trips to Ft. Lauderdale and every year stayed in the same piece of sh!t 12-room hotel two blocks away from the beach. Two workouts/day plus a crapload of beer every night meant that there was a lot of drunk-stumbling-home going on. Well, junior year I ended up picking up a diver from iowa state while nearly blind drunk. By 2 am or so I've convinced her to come back to "my place" and so we head back. Get to our hotel, walk past the crappy little pool, up the stairs on the end, two doors down, and the door's unlocked as we routinely left it. I shush her as we walk in because I notice that there are folks passed out already in the two beds in the front room. Not to be denied, I basically dropped this chick on the floor in front of/in between the two beds, and start working it. By the time I get her shirt off (maybe 30 seconds), I notice that something is a little different... the TV isn't in the corner like it used to be, it's in a cheap-ass entertainment center thing right next to me, in between the foot of the two beds. As it's dawning on me that the entrance to the kitchen is in the wrong place, one of the passed out cranes their head over the bed and sure enough it's some old-ass maybe 50-yr-old dude squinting around.
I quickly realized what was going on, panicked and busted the hell out of there. Left that poor chick probably wondering what in the hell was going on, and with some explaining to do assuming she didn't bolt also. Sure enough this place was two blocks down from ours (parallel to the beach), same L-shaped, 2-story crap-hotel layout w/ a crap pool and staircases in roughly the same place.
All in all, I'm not sure that I'm disappointed these poor people happened to leave their door unlocked--sure, I ended up not getting laid, but the story is well worth it.

thats a great f'in story.

i always make it back to my bed, althought its a little tough to get me there as i usually run away from my friend and fall in bushes to pass out. i also sing as loudly as i can, i.e. the national anthem....no joke
