Jerry Rice will make a mockery out of his legacy

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think anything that is so certain can really be a prediction, more like common knowledge.

More Predictions:

At least one NFL player will be charged with a felony.

The Cowboys will get WAY too much coverage on ESPN leading up to the season.

TO will get into a VERY public arguement on the field with his quarterback.

Andy Reid will eat Drew Rosenhaus.

Nobody will care about Tom Brady until the playoffs, then everyone will talk about how great he is.

Joe Gibbs will break his hip.

Raider fans will urinate on someone.

Bill Bellichek will continue is tread of dressing down and just start wearing his bath robe on the sidelines.

The Broncos will start a middle-aged white woman at running back, and she will rush for 2000 yards.

Why do the Jets get absolutely no respect, they make the playoffs 3/4 years, they're team is arguably better and healthier then last year, and they're not even mentioned as a playoff team?

I agree with you Indie. They are a playoff/superbowl caliber team, I think this year. But I don't expect Curtis Martin to have near the year he did last, but I didn't expect it last year either.

Who are the "lot of players" Buffalo lost? They return 10 of 11 starters on defense and lost Jonas Jennings on the OL who was always injured anyway.
If you're expecting anything from Bledsoe in Dallas you're expecting too much. He had the 2nd ranked defense that forced the most turnovers, the best Special Teams, a good running game, 2 good WR's and couldn't get anything done.
I still expect some growing pains for a 1st year QB behind a mediocre OL and I think the Jets have enough to maintain 2nd place, but to hype up the Cowboys & Giants in the same breath is a bit foolish IMO.

Edit: Didn't the Redskins have a lot of injuries on the OL last year? I don't understand how everybody thinks Gibbs has "lost it" after 1 bad year. They sucked before he got there and I seem to remember Vermeil going 4-12 his first season back w/ the Rams.

Two questions:

Why in the world is Minn getting so much respect in this thread? What did they add this offseason?

How is Detroit's defense? Does anyone see Garcia starting by the 3rd game and just killing it?
