He didn’t believe in God, but he wouldn’t sell his soul.

[/ QUOTE ]

He wasn't even selling it, just putting it up for collateral.

I think this is awesome.

EDIT: I want an official looking piece of parchment in my trunk just for this kind of occasion.

BTW, what kind of paper did you have? Just hand written scribble?

[/ QUOTE ]

It never got that far, but it would have been hand written scribble on whatever I could find.

[/ QUOTE ]

you are an ass, maybe this guy couldnt read or write, hadnt you thought of that? And here you are trying to get him to write stuff down. You insensitive jerk!!!! smiley face goes here

[/ QUOTE ]

Hehe. I don't know what to make of you... You're not quite clever or funny enough to be a troll, but not quite smart enough to have a legitimate point. He shouldn't be driving if he can't read or write.

I remember a friend of mine in high school was buying souls one day for a pack of skittles. Turns out my twin brother decided instead of selling his own soul, he would sell mine without telling me. The friend said cause we were twins that it was "close enough" and the transaction was made. I got pwned.

"What good is it if a man gains the whole world but loses his own soul" (somewhere in the bible)

There have been a hand full of times in my life that a stranger has asked me for gas money “to help them get home.”
... Well I guess I am surprised, that someone would sacrifice their dignity for $5.00 in gas. I just don’t get it.
“Can I talk you into loaning me $5.00 for some gas? I ain’t no bum or anything, I’m just trying to get home. Blah, blah, blah.”

[/ QUOTE ]

So I guess it's up to me to be the one to break it to you:

THEY DON'T NEED GAS. THEY DON'T NEED TO GET ANYWHERE. THEY'RE NOT STRANDED.

you are not doing them a favor by helping them. they will just run out again and bum some more. best to let them rot there for a long time and learn their lesson and be responsible in life. that would be doing them a favor. sounds weird doesnt it.

This thread is one of the reasons I still read OOT.

This thread, and "How many five year olds."

How many five year olds with no soul could you take?
