Ah - I failed to account for the raked hand %age. 1/2 is better than 52% - more like 65%. But even so, you're looking at but 2300 hands in ten days. So 230 hands a day for all 10 days. That's too brutal for me. Looks like I'll pass on this one...

uh, do you do rakeback? if not, then shut up. when you clear a bonus (at least from my rakeback site) you have a negative MGR, thus your rakeback is negative, thus you LOSE money you had made. examples of days when i cleared empire bonuses:

Yeah, if you are an SNG player, at some point you have to just move on from the bonus whoring.
My hourly rate chasing the bonus circuit can no longer compete with my hourly rate playing SNGs. As a result, I don't play the bonuses anymore. It is a natural evolution in any players game.
If I was going to use them though, I'd probably rely on them as a subsidy while learning to play a new game.

Not only is this a higher clear rate than many other bonuses now offered, but the minimum rake to get a raked hand is up to double what most others have also.

So you have to play 2 or 3 times as many raked hands at up to double the rake to clear, compared to some other sites bonuses.

Yes, if does effect you rakeback, but acts like a 100% rakeback until your MGR meets the bonus, it is net 75$, or 100-your rakeback %.

The bonuses subtract entirely from your MGR, not entirely from your rakeback. If you clear a $100 bonus and generate $200 in rake, your rakeback program calculates that you've generated $200-$100=$100 in rake. So, you get $25 in rakeback + $100 in bonuses, when you would've made $50 in rakeback without the bonus.

yes, it is free money on a party skin, great! but empire's had these reloads every month for as long as i can remember and the highest they've ever been has been 10x. now it's 15x and you're saying "oh, that's ok". next it'll be 20x like multi and party could follow suit when they see the players are accepting it. that would be wonderful huh?

50 NL is what I have current stats for:

1500 raked hands=~2275 total hands
2275 hands*.5194 average rake, divided by 9.17 average players makes the players MGR 128.86 for the 2275 hands. Subtract 100 bucks from the MGR, for a leftover of 28.86, get your 25% (for simplicity) rakeback and that's a shiny $7.22 in your pocket.

Now, if you weren't clearing a bonus, you'd have received an additional $25 in rakeback- which is more than offset by the HUNDRED DREAKING DOLLARS you just received for your bonus.

I make a little more than $40 per 1,000 hands in rakeback at Eurobet. Figuring that slightly more than half of my hands are raked, I'd need nearly 3,000 hands to make $100 with that bonus at Empire.

In essence, I'd get $20 more just doing my standard rakeback deal.
