Listen to Alobar. He is wise. Buying her something nicer in the hopes of impressing her just shows her you're a sucker. Since she knows you like her and is not super-keen about it, the only way you may get any interest is if you show her that she's not that special. Don't waste your time going all out, and don't get your hopes up too much either.

A pillow! It's practical (it's something she'll use every night) and available in all sizes, colors, shapes and price ranges. Get her one of those memory foam ones and maybe she'll reconsider the pooper idea.

Its interesting that she is one of your best friends yet you have no idea what to get her. After hanging around with her for six months you have no idea what she likes, what she wants, what would make her eyes light up?

Good god man get with the program. No wonder this woman doesnt care much for you. Pay attention to what is important to her, give this to her (not necessarily material things) and you will be , sigh, sticking it in her pooper in no time.

She knows you like her but basically she doesn't feel the same way about you. She more or less told you she is expecting a present. The term is "chump".
