Seeing how they're currently working on thier next album (for release in '06, I believe) it could be quite sometime before anyone would be able to collect. However, it's Vegas, baby. Vegas. I laid the odds... the wager is up to you.

well obviously exceptions can be made.. but listening to anything else (changing the station, skipping songs) before the CD is over is a crime

Yes. Besides, each album is so different from the rest (aside from Kid A and Amnesiac) that it'd be hard to put together an album comprised of various songs from different areas that flows well. I don't see how a well-made compilation could be anything other than a boxed set that would essentially just be a re-release of all the albums or the singles/EPs.

1, pink floyd

2, Neil Young

3. Radiohead

there are others but there are many groups/bands that simply do not lend themselves to a "singles" mentality

More like, you guys should make a best of Radiohead b-sides list...that might need a double disc too. Although for the typical Radiohead fan, 1 disc could suffice. There's really a TON of amazing b-sides Radiohead puts out.
