I think it's very possible that the best among us could maintain a 6BB/100 winrate at .5/1 over the long run (keep in mind, the prohibitive rake makes this very difficult), but honestly -- why bother? [/ QUOTE ]Hi Rob, I like to look at reaching the best BB/100 reasonably possible not just as a means of optimizing profits, but as a general measure of one's skill progress. For instance, I'm not satisfied with parts of my game. I'm uncomfortable or uncertain of the best play in some situations. A lot of these situations might be considered basic plays or maybe they are intermediate or advanced plays, but I don't find any one particular situation rocket science. It's just that there are so many situations and variations that they could be thought of as hundreds of different "basic" plays. So if one wants to measure their improvement, even just at .5/1, the question then becomes what is the realistic scale to use as a gauge? i.e: From 0-4, 0-5, or 0-6 BB/100? |

i think if you continue the table selection and the short sessions (few hours) where you can focus 100% you should be able to destroy the .5/1 for all that is worth.
