the poster who freaked out is just being a prick and looking to stir up trouble. nobody else who read the thread thought the op showed any racism, if they were asian and didnt speak english, what are you supposed to call them, "english challenged"? what a jerk.

Agree with Al, being from TX, where casino card rooms are not legal and home games are abundant, I spend alot to get to casinos. The reason I do that is for the atmosphere. Next to inconsistencies in how the rules are applied, players who are allowed to be a$$holes make the cost of getting to a casino not worth it some times.

My girlfriend is hispanic. She looks like she is hispanic.
Specifically she is from Peru. She looks like she is from Peru. I am a generic-enough looking american white guy. My parents are both fairly generic-looking white people although my Mom is blonde and EXTREMELY pale skinned. My Dad has a slightly darker skin-tone. My GF's family all look hispanic btw. Her skin-tone is a little bit lighter than her brother or her mom. She also has a little bit of an accent but not an excessively strong one. Her brother's accent is stronger. Her mom speaks practically no english so what she does say is obviously very accented. I don't really speak any spanish. My english is typical mid-west/northern accent. It sticks out a bit in the south (I live in Memphis) where many people quickly pick up on the fact that I am obviously not originally from the area. I visited my Dad in Destin, Florida where many of his friends have southern accents (from Alabama or Georgia mostly). They all commented that we talked the same. Mostly this just meant that we both had mid-west accents. None of the above statements make me a racist. Have a nice day. Juanez - interesting stories. Losing these types of customers is a no-brainer. Tolerating them is just plain silly. More casinos should be more diligent about tossing drunken morons. Surprised to learn that you are NOT hispanic. There is a very popular latin singer named Juanes who I like to make fun of.
