Re: Six screens of happiness.
It may not be what the cool kids have (or want) but it sure beats the crap out of what I got.
I think it's a great set up and I would love to have it. |

Re: Six screens of happiness.
The funniest part of this picture is all of the caffeine just to the left of those monitors! I can just picture someone wide-eyed and wired on caffeine playing poker all night. That's rich!

[ QUOTE ] wow, you could probably get in like, two, three thousand hands a week with a setup like that. [/ QUOTE ] I can get in 3000 hands in two days 4 tabling on one monitor. [/ QUOTE ] It's called sarcasm. |

Re: Six screens of happiness.
All you jerks who are ripping this guy for not having multiple games on a single monitor are the very same cretins I am forever waiting on to act.
Wait 29 of the allotted 30 secs, then fold. At least this guy can see his tables. HURRY UP.. |

Re: Six screens of happiness.
obviously not the most efficient way to multi-table, but 6 LCDs stacked on top of each other.. how is this NOT bitchin?

Re: Six screens of happiness.
actually most multi-tablers don't have the time-out issues that you mention.
It usually is someone with a connection issue or someone who has the sound turned down and is watching TV while playing 1 table. Many 4-8 tabling players are actually faster than many single-tablers to act. It really isn't that hard. |

Re: Six screens of happiness.
A couple of points.
Six 17" monitors cost $CDN1500. The best deal I can get on a dell in Canada is $CDN1100. Vid cards are cheap. I probably should've pointed out that I had a detached retina in my left eye and after the surgery sold my two 21" CRT's because I couldn't see the tables. I don't like overlap when I play more than four tables, call me weak but when I play six tables I like to see all the action not just have a window pop up out of nowhere. Plus I never timeout because I can follow all the tables. Also, I just think it's funny. Rob |

6 crappy 15" LCD's you can pick up for around $60 each, $360 total. 3 Vid cards capable of 2 monitors = $180 It is actually a hell of a lot cheaper option. [/ QUOTE ] What system are you talking about? It looks like 6 flat panels to me. |
