I'm interested in this whenever you run the next beta.

Regarding distributed mining:
I would prefer that this be implemented using a client-server architecture rather than peer-to-peer. I use a fairly powerful desktop/workstation as the main PT database machine and old/weak machines for data collecting and playing.

I also could utilize data mining from outside my local network if that were available. It would also be nice if your application were able to start the poker client(s) on the remote machine(s). Of course, the login info would have to be 'remembered' by the remote poker client!

Thanks,
Gamb00ler

Yea that was an option when I first started looking at how I wanted to implement it, but after seeing that the client is fairly lightweight I didn't want to add an actual server component into the architecture. I will keep something like this in mind as an option for a future release. Maybe give the user the ability to run it in several configurations.

The first beta is offically over. I am working hard on the second beta release and am hoping to have it out very soon. I have the distributed mining in place, and need to work a little more on some other issues that have been found in the first release. The UI is changing up as well.

The distributed mining sounds like a really great idea. Actually, you know what, this whole thing sounds like a great idea.

If you're interested in another tester, I'd be very grateful and privileged to be picked if you ever need more SNG testers. Hope to see this whole thing out soon as I'd surely be one of the first customers.
